Triple R – Vienna

Vienna was the foremost destination to which Stijena sent its representative as part of the Triple R project. The trip was short (12-14 March), but with content. On Sunday 12.3. a constructive meeting was held on the project team where we planned the activities for the second phase of the project. On the evening of the same day, the project team members attended the WFAD meeting, and on Monday at the side event at the UN building in the CND event, the project was presented to the interested participants. In addition, an interesting RUN side event was also held, featuring scientific insights into the idea of full recovery, the insights that contribute to recovery. Research shows that individuals who are totally recovered from addiction are often more useful and active members of society than “ordinary” people. That is why the investment in recovery is profitable from several aspects, the financial one, but above all the human one. Representatives of the Office for the Combat against Drug Abuse of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, as well as members of the Triple R project team, participated in the mentioned side event.
The last trip to the Triple R project is in Brussels.
